E.A. (Eugénio de Almeida) Regional White
Produced from Roupeiro and Perrum grown in our own vineyards at the Fundação Eugénio de Almeida. Clear lemon colour, exuberant fruit on the nose with a hint of minerality. The palate is full and balanced with a fresh and elegant finish. Ideal pairing with seafoods and light meat dishes.
Pera Manca Regional Red
Pera Manca is produced from the Trincadeira and Aragonez varieties with each parcel being carefully separated and selected at the harvest from 25-year old vines. Grapes develop slowly without excess stress, drawing out the best characteristics of the varieties. Only in the best years are the grapes harvested. After a long maceration the wine is matured oak vats for 18 months. The wine is bottle-aged further for 12 months in the Cartuxa Monastery cellars prior to release. On the nose there are refined and complex notes of ripe fruit, jam and spice. The palate is full, elegant and the finish is very long. A wine that reveals itself with time.
